At Glen Waverley, we are about to embark on a journey that many thousands of other people across Australia have already taken. Certainly, many individuals who are part of our church have previously read the book "Purpose Driven Life" but this will be the first time that we, as a total church community, have journeyed this way.
I will be actively involved in this mission - with great expectation that God is going to do great things in our lives as we seek to grow in our knowledge of Him and deepen our devotion to Him. As part of this I will be 'blogging' my journey. Using the daily devotions as the back drop, I will write of my own experience and learnings, as well as offer personal reflections on the process and encouragement to the people of GWAC as they take this journey too.
From time to time I will also offer a more detailed commentary on the weekly themes and the passages of scripture that we will be studying together. Interaction and dialogue will be welcomed in the hope that we enhance our learning and ultimately deepen our dependence on God.
